I partner with local governments and property developers to design and activate community spaces that foster connection, drive engagement, and create vibrant, thriving places.
My approach is rooted in the belief that successful community projects and spaces are built by and for the community, and I bring over 15 years of experience in community building to create meaningful, sustainable impact.
How I Work
Community-Led Design: I begin by deeply understanding the needs and aspirations of the local community. Through research, workshops, and collaborative design sessions, I ensure that the space reflects the unique character and needs of the people who will use it.
Strategic Activation: I develop comprehensive activation strategies that bring the space to life. This includes programming, events, and initiatives that foster a sense of belonging, encourage social interaction, and promote community participation.
Inclusive Innovation: I champion inclusive innovation by creating opportunities for residents to learn new skills, connect with resources, and pursue their entrepreneurial ambitions. By leveraging partnerships with local organisations, I ensure that the space becomes a hub for creativity, learning, and economic empowerment.
Sustainable Placemaking: My goal is to create community spaces that are not only vibrant and engaging but also sustainable and resilient. I work closely with developers and local governments to ensure that the space is designed and managed in a way that minimises environmental impact and maximises social value.
